The donor has chosen to donate because of a wish to help others become parents. He has thought about the idea for a couple of years and has been hesitant about doing it, but after some deliberation and the experience of becoming a father himself, he has decided to donate.
On the intelligence screening test, the donor performs around the average for his age group. He can be expected to learn and analyze complex problems on par with the average person, and will likely be considered fairly intelligent.
In terms of personality, the donor can be said to be calm and collected in most cases, as with the average person. He rarely worries without serious cause to do so, and he is somewhat comfortable in his own skin, although new or uncertain situations might make him more self-conscious and concerned with not appearing embarrassing. He has good control of his impulses and can handle pressure without breaking too easily, but he might also sometimes need to recuperate afterwards, like most people. He might only show a temper when it is warranted but has the capacity to do so. The donor might experience a tilt towards pessimism or negativity more often than the average person, which might make others think he is too critical or unable to have fun at times, but also makes him a sharp realist. He doesn't experience positive emotions as often or as sharply as others do, which helps to make him grounded and focused on the world in front of him.
The Donor is usually reserved at first when meeting others, and it might take some time for him to open up in new social relations. Others might think of him as a bit cold or distant, but he can show affection and warmth to his close relations in a clearer way. Though this might also be affected by current life events, where he must adjust to a new life reality. He doesn’t have as high a need for being social as many others do, and he might even prefer his own company at times. The donor can be comfortable not being noticed in a crowd, and he doesn’t usually seek attention, but in some social circles where he feels comfortable, he is likely to seek some degree of influence. He is somewhat active but also doesn’t prefer a full schedule every week, where there’s time to relax and not stimulate oneself too much. There are some aspects of life where he might enjoy excitement and adrenaline, but other times where it’s not part of what he seeks, it will all depend on the context. For example, he is a tennis player on a fairly high level and enjoys making a competition out of various games and during training as well, or placing bets to make things interesting. He has also tried gambling before and found it fun, but not to an extreme degree.
The donor is more focused on logic, rationality and the real world than being a faciful, fantasizing artistic person. He is not terribly concerned with the emotions of others and himself and is more oriented around problem solving than listening to other people vent, for example. While being grounded, logical and practically oriented more than the average person, he also does enjoy variation to a high degree in his activities. The donor might enjoy doing various things and not sticking to doing one particular routine or a specific hobby, but instead swapping around and exploring.
He can be both conservative, traditional and concrete in his way of thinking, but there might be other areas where he is more open, tolerant and willing to engage in intellectually stimulating conversations.
The donor is somewhat trusting of others and mostly open and honest in his communications, but he also knows not to trust everyone and that being strategic has its value from time to time. He can be helpful and self-sacrificing, but only in circumstances that matter to him. While the donor is fairly modest, he is good at criticizing authorities and doesn’t mind confrontations and being skeptical. Even at the cost of some relations. He stands up for his own values and is careful to take care of his own needs. Others will likely see him as a bit cynical and harsh, when it comes to the homeless for example, but he has a sense of duty and helpfulness towards the elderly. The way the donor sees it, he doesn’t particularly like listening to the hardships of others, because everyone has hardships in their life and it’s how you deal with them that’s important.
The donor can doubt his own competencies from time to time, but this is also something that drives him to perform well, in tennis for example. He is structured in some areas of life, but not others. He will strive to do his best in areas that are of interest to him. The donor is quite analytical and deliberate in his actions, taking some time in his decision-making process more so than others. The donor doesn’t commit himself to responsibilities unless the topic or task has his specific interest.
