Our impressions
Donor Gisli is a calm and well-balanced young man who possesses enough empathy to become a donor with the sincere wish to help those in need. His strength lies in the exact sciences, and his professional field is related to IT. He is able to plan his activities carefully, yet remains flexible when life circumstances require it. Sociable and with a good sense of humor, he is a pleasant conversationalist and a charming young man.
His hobbies include playing computer games and reading books. At the same time, he makes sure to stay in good physical shape by engaging in sports.
At the time of donation, Donor Gisli was not yet a father, but he openly shared that he dreams of having children in the future and is confident that he will be a true source of support and care for them.
I want to leave something behind as I have low chances to get a good enough environment to get kids myself, and also to get some cash.
What do friendships mean to you?
Friends should be supportive, and you should be able to feel that they are with you because of who you are, and not because of something you have, for example money, that they don't have themselves.
What are your personal strengths?
I'm always trying grow and be very independent from people and the environment. I have high adaptability and stress resistance.
Do you have any specific characteristics?
I am always looking to make an impression on people around me and I like to ask questions.
I'm not very emotional, and I am always trying to improve myself and keep an open mind.
What instruments do you play?
I'm not playing any instruments.
Hobbies and interests
What sports do you like to participate in?
Swimming, probably because I've been doing it since I was a child and always loved to go to the sauna afterwards.
What are your hobbies?
Growing plants at home, 3D printing, custom software development, and computer games. It's interesting to watch plants grow these days. 3D printing allows you to bring your ideas to life and make various home improvements, and games allow you to develop your creative thinking skills.
Questions
How would you describe your mother?
My mother is simple, she loves walking in nature and she loves plants. I feel like I've been alone most of my life, especially since my parents moved to another country. Overall, that's probably why I'm quite cold.
How would you describe your father?
My father has a difficult character, as he is quick-tempered, and it is difficult to have a dialog with him, let alone any kind of argument. Only with age did he become less hot-tempered and it became easier to conduct a dialog.
What does family mean to you?
My family is probably the only ones to whom I can turn to for help in any case of difficulties. To me, family is only my parents and brothers, I no longer perceive other relatives as family.
My family and friends haven't described me, because in my family we are not talking a lot, and me and my friends haven't talked about how they would describe me. I remember that when I was a child, I was very boring, but I've changed that about myself.
Where is your dream travel destination?
Malta, since the island is small and has a high density of interesting places. Perhaps in the future, if they can cheaply desalinate water, they can turn the island into a paradise.
What is your best childhood memory?
My best childhood memory was when I was running out of school in kindergarten and another guy was running towards me and we bumped heads. As a result, I felt nothing, but he started bleeding and it seems there was an ambulance. I've always had a big head.
What's your biggest dream or goal in life?
I dream of getting a house by the sea, far from people, with a large plot of land for creating my own green dome and be completely self-sufficient.
What are you most proud of?
I can't say, I have not reached my goals yet, so I'm not able to be proud of them. Perhaps my cat, whom I raised and who is healthy at 12 years old and has a unique character for a cat. Also I still have a lot of close friends and didn't go too deep into my introvert world.
What was your childhood dream job?
I wanted to be a bus driver.
What sort of friend are you?
I am helpful, and I am a person who can keep different people together. By this I mean I keep friends together by creating events if they are not doing them themselves.
I dream of getting a house by the sea, far from people, with a large plot of land for creating your own green dome and be completely self-sufficient.

My main motivation is to leave a mark, because I’m unlikely to be in a position to give my child a good, secure future. So I hope you will be, and that you’re confident in your decision to be a pillar and support for your child.
As for me, if I was a father, I would definitely help my child discover the world and understand how it works, and I would help them find what their heart is drawn to and develop it. Most importantly, I would want to be not so much a parent but as my child’s best friend, at least that’s what I sorely lacked. Don’t forget what you were like as a child and what you felt - so you don’t lose that connection. Good luck!
Forgot, don’t be afraid to let your child make mistakes, that’s how we learn best.

Psychologist opinion
Evaluation
This psychologist review is exclusively based on personality and intelligence test results. The personality test used in this review is constructed and validated via robust principles and theoretical framework, but the interview is omitted.
Intelligence:
In terms of intelligence, the donor has performed above the average of the general population on the screening test. He can be said to analyze problems and understand complexity faster than most people, and he seems to have some advantage when it comes to understanding geometric shapes and patterns.
Personality:
Overall, the donor can be said to be more of an introverted person than most others. He is likely to be a person who prefers to stay in the background and not necessarily take the initiative in social groups. Others will likely see him as someone who can voice his opinions if necessary, and if no one else will take the lead, he might do so if he feels competent, but there's not much reason to think that this is something he would prefer to be the case. The donor seems to feel more at ease when someone else starts the activity, and he is expected to try to avoid risks and uncertain situations more than he would seek them. He can influence other people on occasion, but he seems to prefer not having to either debate or inspire others.
He's likely to be a more emotionally fluctuating person than most and will be more in tune with his own emotions and that of others than most other people. He is expected to be more responsive to stress than others and might find it hard to keep calm and composed in the face of adversity or high pressure. The donor can be concerned with others' opinions of him, which will make him quite receptive to feedback, but perhaps also a bit of an overthinker. This can also make him good at spotting potential problems or risks in advance, and he will be more reactive towards negative emotions. He will also experience sadness or anger more often than most, which can make him good at highlighting personal boundaries and also passions to others.
While the donor might prefer to be by himself at times, he is generally predisposed to helping other people. He bases decisions on logic and evidence rather than emotions and gut feelings, but can still be heavily guided by his responsibility towards others and their expectations of him. He's not particularly likely to be highly independent in his decision-making if those decisions can affect others. Overall, it can take some time for the donor to trust others and he might meet new people with a certain level of distance or initial skepticism. For this, he's not likely to be taken advantage of, but he might miss out on some relevant networking or new relations.
Work moral and self-perception:
In terms of work ethic, the donor will likely prefer to work alone and have time to be by himself and gather his thoughts. He's not likely to feel at home in large crowds and will be more reserved than most other people. He's probably very good at listening to others and taking in their opinions and ideas. He can be very focused and good at problem-solving by himself, while networking and relations fall in the background. Others will likely see him as a fairly confident person who trusts his own abilities for the most part.
He is expected to work with some structure and planning, but a bit of chaos is not likely to bother him at all. He can be flexible and adjust to changing circumstances, perhaps because he expects things not to go according to plan. He can be spontaneous and be in the moment, unlike some people that are solely focused on performance and acquiring results. The donor is neither conservative nor a complete visionary in terms of his thinking. He probably enjoys a stable work environment without too much pressure and high pace, and he can sometimes engage in unconventional ideas. He might enjoy tasks with a clear goal but a flexible way to reach those goals.
Individuals with high-normal IQ benefit from improved problem-solving skills, allowing them to navigate complex situations effectively. They often learn new information faster and retain it better, contributing to academic success and increased career opportunities.
