Our impressions
Hrolf decided to become a donor because fatherhood has been the defining, most meaningful experience of his life, and he wants to give others the same chance to build a family. With five children of his own and no plans for more, he speaks about donation less as an act of giving something up and more as sharing something abundant. He genuinely lights up describing the joy his kids bring him, right down to the tattoo he got in their honor.
He comes across as reliable, calm, grounded, and easy to lean on. He's not flashy. People trust him precisely because he stays steady rather than reactive. What makes Hrolf interesting is the range behind that calm exterior: a natural gift for math and logic paired with a hands-on, practical side, just as content fixing something as he is out kayaking. A disciplined, down-to-earth man who still makes room for family, fun, and a bit of wonder along the way.
My biggest dream in life is to be the best father I can be and to give my children a childhood filled with security, love, and the freedom to be themselves.

What's your diet like?
I have a relatively simple and mindful approach to my daily diet, where I try to maintain a good balance between health and practicality in a busy everyday life as a family man.
In the morning, I typically eat skyr with fruit, which gives me a good, light start to the day with both protein and the natural sweetness of the fruit. It works well for me because it’s simple, quick, and nutritious at the same time.
For lunch, it’s often something very light, usually fruit. I realize it’s not always the most filling meal, but it’s something that fits into my daily routine. At the same time, I’m aware that this is an area where I could benefit from making my diet more consistent and varied.
In the evening, I typically eat a heartier meal, often consisting of chicken with vegetables. This is a meal I prioritize highly, as it provides me with protein and essential nutrients and helps me end the day on a positive and balanced note.
When it comes to beverages, I drink both fruit juice and energy drinks throughout the day. They give me a quick energy boost, but I’m also aware that they aren’t the best choice for my health, and that’s something I could definitely improve on.
Overall, I try to eat relatively healthy and simple meals, focusing on good ingredients like skyr, fruit, chicken, and vegetables. At the same time, I’m aware that there’s room for improvement, especially when it comes to lunch, variety, and fluid intake, and that’s something I’m constantly working on getting better at.
My particular strengths lie mainly in my ability to create a sense of security and stability around me. I’m good at listening, understanding other people, and being there when support is needed. It comes naturally to me to take responsibility and bring calm to situations where others need a clear overview.
I also have strong logical reasoning skills and have always found both Danish and math easy, which makes it simple for me to learn new things and grasp concepts quickly.
In addition, I’m hands-on and enjoy working with my hands and making things work in practice. I thrive in both social settings and quieter activities where I can immerse myself.
Overall, my strengths are a combination of responsibility, big-picture thinking, empathy, and practical understanding.

Hobbies and interests
What sports do you like to participate in?
I enjoy being physically active in my daily life, and I especially like activities that offer both tranquility and movement. I ride my bike every day, which is a regular part of my routine. It gives me fresh air, keeps me in good shape, and serves as a natural part of my daily commute and exercise.
In addition, I enjoy kayaking because it offers a very special sense of calm and a connection to nature. It’s an activity where I can mentally unwind while using my body in a healthy and natural way.
For me, sports and exercise aren’t about competition, but about well-being, balance, and staying healthy and alert in my daily life.
I particularly enjoy Soccer, Table Tennis and Shooting.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies and interests are a mix of family life, practical activities, and social relationships. I make it a priority to spend a lot of time with my children, as my family life means a great deal to me, and that’s where I find the most value in my daily life. I bike every day, which gives me exercise and fresh air as a regular part of my routine. I also enjoy kayaking because it offers peace, contemplation, and a break from everyday life in nature.
I also enjoy gaming and going to the movies in my free time, as it gives me a chance to relax and be entertained. Furthermore, I appreciate spending time with other people and having social relationships characterized by a good atmosphere and a sense of togetherness. I also enjoy working with my hands and doing practical things, because it gives me a sense of creating something and using my body in a tangible way
Questions
What does family mean to you?
To me, family means everything. That’s where I find my greatest joy, security, and sense of purpose in life. My family is my foundation and the place where I feel most at home and most like myself.
As a father, it means a lot to me to be able to give my children a safe and stable foundation where they can be themselves and feel loved and seen. I make a point of being present, supporting them as they grow, and being there for them in both the small and big moments.
I associate family with care, responsibility, and togetherness. It’s important to me to be someone people can count on and to build relationships based on trust and love.
At the same time, it’s within my family that I create my most cherished memories—everything from the small moments of everyday life to shared experiences that continue to hold meaning.
How would friends and family describe you?
My family and friends would probably describe me as a calm, steady, and caring person who is there for the people around me. I’m good at listening, offering support, and creating a sense of security in my relationships, and I’m someone you can count on—both in good times and bad.
As a father, they’d say I’m attentive and committed, and that I go out of my way to give my children a safe and stable foundation where they can be themselves and feel seen and heard.
At the same time, I’m someone who takes responsibility and often steps up when needed. I’m not afraid to take the initiative and step in, especially when it comes to providing clarity, creating a sense of security, or helping others move forward.
Among friends and family, I’d probably be described as loyal and trustworthy—someone who doesn’t necessarily take center stage, but who means a lot in relationships and stands firm when it really counts.
Where is your dream travel destination?
I’d like to go on both nature trips and city breaks, since I appreciate different kinds of experiences. I’m very drawn to the idea of a safari because it offers the chance to experience nature and animals up close in their natural habitats. It’s the kind of trip where you can find peace, reflection, and unique experiences far away from everyday life.
At the same time, I also enjoy city breaks, where I can experience new cultures, beautiful buildings, and exciting architecture. I find it interesting to explore different cities and experience the atmosphere and culture up close.
Furthermore, it means a lot to me to be able to share these experiences with my children. My 11-year-old daughter especially dreams of exploring different countries and visiting amusement parks, and that’s something I’d like to give her the opportunity to do. It’s important to me to create memories together as a family and experience the world through her curiosity.
My biggest dream in life is to be the best father I can be and to give my children a childhood filled with security, love, and the freedom to be themselves. I want to be a stable foundation in their lives, where they always know that I’m there for them. At the same time, I dream of creating a life where we can explore the world together, learn new things, and make memories that last a lifetime. For me, life is ultimately about relationships, being present, and the people you share it with.
What are you most proud of?
The days my children were born are the moments I’m most proud of in my life. Becoming a father changed everything for me. To remind myself of how much they mean to me, I’ve had them tattooed on my arm. It’s a symbol of my love, my responsibility, and the most important role I have in my life.
Describe some of your best experiences.
Some of my best experiences in life range from small, everyday moments to major events. These can be vacations and trips where I have the chance to unwind and enjoy time with my family, or simple experiences like a day at the beach or a trip to Lalandia, where we just have fun together.
At the same time, many of my most powerful experiences are connected to my children. Moments like when they started walking, talking, laughing, and running are some of the most meaningful to me. Being able to follow their development and be a part of those moments is something I value very highly.
For me, the best experiences aren’t just about big trips or special events, but just as much about the small, genuine moments in everyday life with the people I care about.

What do friendships mean to you?
Friendships mean a lot to me because they’re about trust, honesty, and being there for one another. To me, a good friendship is based on mutual respect and on being able to count on each other—both in good times and in hard times.

offer support when others need it, and I make a point of being someone you can trust.

Evaluation
The donor chose to donate because he has five children of his own and does not plan to have any more. He wants to help others experience the joy of having children, and his wife is happy with this decision.
Intelligence:
The donor performed within the average range for his age group on the screening test. He can be described as being like most other people when it comes to learning new things and understanding complex patterns. Sometimes he is a quick learner, other times less so.
Personality:
In terms of personality, the donor comes across as a calm, stable, and resilient person. He does not seem easily worried, discouraged, or overwhelmed, and others are likely to perceive him as someone who can keep his composure when life gets demanding. He seems to have a relaxed emotional foundation and is probably not someone who spends too much time dwelling on problems or expecting things to go wrong. This can make him seem down-to-earth, reliable, and easy to be around, especially in situations where others might become more stressed or reactive.
The donor also appears outgoing and socially active. He likely enjoys being around other people and may come across as energetic, engaged, and comfortable in everyday social settings. He is probably not shy about participating or getting involved. At the same time, his personality does not seem extreme or one-sided. Many of his qualities seem quite consistent and balanced, suggesting that he is likely able to adapt his behavior to the situation without changing too dramatically from one context to another.
In his interactions with others, he generally comes across as helpful and cooperative. He is likely willing to support those around him and may have a strong sense that one should contribute when necessary. As a father of five, he is likely accustomed to taking on responsibility in a practical, everyday way. Others will likely see him as someone who is attentive, helpful, and capable of handling many things at once. At the same time, he may not be the most sentimental type. He can be considerate without necessarily being overly influenced by other people’s emotions, and he may have a healthy self-confidence in himself and what he contributes.
Values and Interests:
The donor seems to have a balanced and practical approach to life. He is not expected to be particularly closed-minded or rigid, but he is also unlikely to be someone who constantly seeks out the unusual or the highly abstract. He may be curious and open to new ideas when they feel relevant, but he also seems to value what is familiar, useful, and down-to-earth. This gives the impression of a person who can enjoy variety and input from the outside world, while at the same time preferring that things make sense in a concrete way.
He seems to enjoy excitement and activity, but not necessarily in an extreme or risk-seeking way. He enjoys kayaking, which may reflect a desire for movement, nature, and stimulation without needing the most dramatic or dangerous experiences. He may enjoy feeling active and alive, but he is probably not drawn to bungee jumping or similar forms of thrill-seeking. Routines also seem to be important to him. With a large family and five children, he values structure because it helps with daily life. He appreciates it when things are predictable enough to provide stability, while still needing some activity and variety to keep life from becoming too monotonous. Overall, his interests and values seem to center around family, responsibility, activity, and a practical zest for life.
Work Ethic and Self-Perception:
In terms of work ethic, the donor appears responsible and quite meticulous in how he approaches his obligations. He likely takes his tasks seriously and thinks things through before acting. Others may perceive him as reliable and sensible, especially in contexts where planning, patience, and follow-through are important. His work in a warehouse may suit a practical and structured side of him, where tasks often require reliability, an overview, and a steady rhythm. This can make him trustworthy and good at handling everyday responsibilities, both at work and at home. His disciplined side can also be supported by the demands of family life, where routines, coordination, and consistency are often necessary for things to run smoothly.
The donor will likely see himself as capable of handling whatever life demands of him. He does not seem easily rattled by pressure and probably has a strong sense that problems can be solved if one remains calm and practical. Some may see this as a strength because he remains composed and focused, while others may occasionally wish for a softer or more openly sympathetic response.
Overall, the donor comes across as a stable, active, and responsible person who can balance family life, work, and personal interests in a down-to-earth way. His primary strengths are likely his calmness, reliability, practical discipline, and willingness to contribute. His main challenges may be that he can seem somewhat less emotionally affected by others than some people expect, or that he may prefer routines and practical solutions over more abstract or emotionally charged discussions.
Having a normal IQ means the donor has the reasoning and problem solving skills of a normal person. In the case of our donors we use the people on the job market in Denmark to define a normal person.
