Our impressions
Yngvar's motivation for donating is both genuine and thoughtful. He wants to make a real difference for people who dream of having a child, and speaks about it with quiet sincerity. He comes from a healthy, close-knit family and feels a natural desire to pass that on.
In person, he is calm, grounded and easy to be around. Family and friendships are central to who he is, and he values loyalty, trust and being someone others can count on. His friends and family describe him as reliable and caring, with a good sense of humour that surfaces once he feels comfortable.
Tall with an athletic build, dark wavy hair and warm brown eyes, he has a striking presence. He is finishing his BSc in Software Development and is fluent in five languages. An accomplished guitarist with a passion for travel, he is quietly impressive the more you get to know him.
I am a loyal and down-to-earth friend who listens, shows up and is there when it really matters.

What instruments do you play?
Guitar
Hobbies and interests
What sports do you like to participate in?
I've been doing strength training for the past eight years because it gives me both physical well-being and mental strength. It helps me stay focused, balances my daily life and gives me a sense of calm and energy. I swam a lot in my childhood and teenage years and it's something I want to take up again in the near future.
What are your hobbies?
My hobbies and interests are wide-ranging. I'm interested in music and playing the guitar because it allows me to express myself creatively. I also enjoy working out, traveling and languages as they challenge me, give me new perspectives and contribute to both physical and mental balance.
Questions
What does family mean to you?
My family means everything to me. We've always stuck together and supported each other through good times and bad. They have given me security, values and a strong foundation in life, and I appreciate the community and love we share.
How would friends and family describe you?
My family and friends would describe me as calm, reliable and caring. I'm someone you can talk to openly and who takes responsibility for both relationships and the people I care about. At the same time, they would say that I am thoughtful and have a good balance between seriousness and humour.
Where is your dream travel destination?
I've travelled a lot in Europe and Southeast Asia, but my next big destination is a tour through South America. First and foremost because the people have made a strong impression on me and because the culture is colourful, energetic and life-affirming. Machu Picchu is a place that has always attracted me and that I dream of experiencing.
My biggest dream in life is to build a stable and meaningful life with a strong career that I enjoy and can grow in. At the same time, I dream of a secure family life with close relationships, good health and the opportunity to contribute positively to other people's lives.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the person I have become. My childhood self would thank me for the relationships I've built and the experiences and accomplishments I've achieved through life, including travel, music and education.
Describe some of your best experiences.
One of my best experiences was graduating from high school. The joy, the community and the feeling of closing a big chapter in life is hard to compare to anything else. In addition, gigs and experiences through my guitar playing in my teenage years have meant a lot to me. Last but not least, my educational journey through Southeast Asia was an experience that I will take with me for the rest of my life.
How would you describe your own personality?
As a person, I am calm, approachable and thoughtful. I thrive on structure and balance, but I also appreciate presence, humour and good conversations. I am curious about people and the world around me and value honesty and trust in relationships. In everyday life, I try to be a person others can count on.
What was your childhood dream job?
My biggest dream as a child was to become a world-famous guitarist. This dream led to gigs and small concerts in my hometown, where I gained valuable experience and joy in music.
What do friendships mean to you?
Friendships mean a lot to me because they give life meaning and depth. Good relationships create security, community and support, and it's important for me to have people around me with whom I can be myself. For me, friendships are about presence, trust and sharing both good experiences and difficult periods.
I dream of a secure family life with close relationships, good health and the opportunity to contribute positively to other people's lives.

Evaluation
The donor has chosen to donate because of a deep desire to help other people become parents. He thinks it's a great way to make a difference for other people. He knows how life-changing having children can be as his sister recently had one. He doesn't have children of his own, but hopes to one day.
Intelligence:
In terms of intelligence, the donor has performed within the average for his age group on the screening test. The donor claims to have taken other tests where his score was higher and that there was a slight problem for him at the beginning of the test. The results may not be fully representative. Based on the available results, it can be said that he is reasonable at analyzing complexity and learning new things. Some things will come to him quickly, other things less so, as is the case with most other people.
Personality:
In terms of personality, the donor can largely be said to be a person without many worries and a generally calm approach to life. This has not always been the case, and he has learned to tame his emotions and way of assessing the world by adopting stoicism as a philosophy and practicing mindfulness and the like. He seems very down to earth and tends to assess the world in a very rational way as opposed to an emotional one. The donor seems adept at staying calm under pressure and can probably handle stress better than most people. He will tend to calm the concerns of others and not pay too much attention to negative emotions. He is expected to be good at controlling his impulses and others are likely to see him as someone without much temperament. Socially, the Donor is likely to be a more introverted person who prefers close, intimate relationships and a small group of friends to look after. He seems to shy away from large gatherings and being around large crowds, preferring smaller gatherings. The donor may seem reserved at first in the eyes of others. He may take some time to get used to others and may be skeptical of others' intentions when he first meets people. The Donor is expected to be extremely loyal to those friends who manage to gain his trust. He is quite direct in tough situations and has little strategic angle in his interactions with others, even when it would be beneficial. He will lean towards being honest and not having hidden agendas. The Donor can be helpful and self-sacrificing, but rarely at the expense of his own personal goals and needs. Others are likely to see him as an active person with a lot to do and he seems to enjoy challenging himself. He sometimes travels to new places where he doesn't know the language and he is ambitious with his goals at the gym. The donor is optimistic at heart and prefers to stay positive in the face of adversity. Others are likely to see him as a diplomatic figure without too much preference for confrontation or challenging authority. He seems to be somewhat concerned about the problems and burdens of others without being overwhelmed by them.
Values and interests:
Overall, the donor has a great interest in creative pursuits, art and cultural activities. He has a great appreciation for beauty and enjoys visiting museums. He has an artistic mind and has spent much of his youth practicing guitar and playing in bands. He also seems to have a great interest in academia and learning new things. The donor seems to enjoy discussing complex and abstract topics and is very curious to learn. He is expected to have an opinion on most topics, but he can also be very good at seeing things from different perspectives and seeing pros and cons from many different points of view. This can also make his beliefs quite fickle and some people may find it difficult to get a straight answer from him on some issues as he can't seem to make up his mind. The Donor seems very tolerant of others and their worldviews. He has many interests, but also seems to enjoy his everyday life and everyday life in general. Compared to others, he may not have as much need for variety and variability in his activities and work.
Work ethic and self-perception:
In terms of work ethic, the donor seems very diligent, responsible and hardworking. To others, he may seem perfectionistic, but he recognizes that nothing can be perfect. At the same time, the Donor sets very high standards for himself and can be hard to please. He seems to enjoy structure, planning and tidiness. Others would probably describe the donor as an ambitious person with a high degree of self-confidence and a willingness to take on a lot of responsibility. He will often seek control and may set a strict discipline for himself to achieve personal goals. The Donor is likely to be very analytical, reflective and deliberate in his actions, which usually makes him very correct but also very slow to act. He seems to enjoy recognition for his work and achievements more than other people.
Having a normal IQ means the donor has the reasoning and problem solving skills of a normal person. In the case of our donors we use the people on the job market in Denmark to define a normal person.
