Our impressions
Donor Stig comes across as a calm, warm and easy-going man with a quick sense of humour and a curiosity that shows in almost everything he talks about. Family and friendship clearly sit at the centre of his life. He grew up in a close-knit family and describes himself as the loyal, helpful type who shows up when someone needs a hand. Being a father to his son is the role he is proudest of, and it is a large part of why he wants to help others experience the same.
What stands out most is his emotional steadiness paired with genuine social warmth. He is optimistic and solution-oriented, rarely stressed by small things, generous with his time and quick to help without losing sight of his own needs, but humble enough to keep the focus on others. Persistent once he sets his mind to something and anchored by a strong sense of honesty and integrity, donor Stig comes across as dependable and quietly ambitious, which makes him a compelling choice for anyone seeking a donor with warmth, character and a deep appreciation of family.
Japan fascinates me because the country has a very special culture, where old traditions and modern technology coexist. I would find it exciting to experience the culture, the food and the way everyday life works.

What's your diet like?
I emphasize eating healthy and varied in my everyday life. My diet consists of chicken, pork, fish, lots of vegetables, root vegetables and various whole grains. For breakfast I usually choose yogurt or skyr, as it is an easy and good start to the day.
For me, a healthy diet is not about strict rules, but about giving the body the best conditions to feel good and function optimally. I see a varied diet as a natural part of a healthy lifestyle and something that gives me energy and energy in my everyday life. At the same time, I believe that there should also be room to enjoy a good meal and find a good balance.
My special talent lies at the intersection of the creative and the technical. I am good at translating complex ideas into functional solutions. On the creative side, I am strong in idea generation and visual thinking. But what really sets me apart is my technical ability to take that idea and implement it logically, whether it is through code, data analysis or a new system. So I am good at both imagining what needs to be done and figuring out how to actually do it.
What instruments do you play?
I can play drums. I received instruction throughout elementary and high school.
Hobbies and interests
What sports do you like to participate in?
I like a mix of physical and mental challenges, which is why I am particularly interested in basketball, martial arts and eSports.
I like basketball because it is a team sport where cooperation, quick decisions and good coordination are essential. I find it both fun and motivating to develop your skills together with others.
Martial arts appeal to me because it strengthens both balance, discipline and self-control. For me, it is not about learning how to fight, but about being able to defend yourself if it should one day be necessary, while also developing respect for others.
I am also interested in eSports because it challenges concentration, strategic thinking and quick reflexes. I find it fascinating how you can constantly develop and improve your skills.
What all three interests have in common is that they are fun, challenging and give me the opportunity to constantly learn something new and develop myself.
What are your hobbies?
I have several hobbies that keep me active, challenge my creativity, and allow me to spend time with people I care about.
Fitness has become a big interest for me, especially in recent years. I exercise regularly because I want to take good care of my body and maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. This year, I also started yoga, which has become a great complement to my training. I appreciate the calm, relaxation, and increased flexibility that yoga provides, and it helps me create a good balance between physical and mental well-being.
I also enjoy playing board games with family and friends. For me, it's not just about the game, but also about spending quality time together, laughing, and making good memories.
I also like to be creative. Every now and then, I find paper and pencil and make sketches, which I sometimes color. I find it a nice way to relax and immerse myself in something creative.
Questions
What does family mean to you?
My family means a lot to me. Just like good friendships, I think family is an important part of your life and well-being. They are people you can trust, be yourself with, and who will hopefully be there for you when you need them.
For me, family is not just about being biologically related, but also about the community and security you have with each other. I really value the relationships I have with my family, and the experiences and memories we have together.
How would friends and family describe you?
I think my family and friends would describe me as a kind, calm and patient person. I am usually good at keeping my cool and I am happy to take the time to listen if someone needs to talk or needs my help.
They would also say that I am helpful and willing to help when someone around me needs it. At the same time, I think they would describe me as someone with a good sense of humor. I like to have fun and make others laugh, even though I may not always think my jokes are that good.
Where is your dream travel destination?
If I could choose, I would like to travel to Asia – especially Japan – as well as Australia and New Zealand.
Japan fascinates me because the country has a very special culture, where old traditions and modern technology coexist. I would find it exciting to experience the culture, the food and the way everyday life works.
Australia and New Zealand attract me first and foremost because of the magnificent nature. I dream of experiencing the vast landscapes, the mountains, the national parks and the unique wildlife. I love experiencing new places, and a trip to these countries would be an opportunity to both explore nature and gain insight into another culture.
My biggest dream is to leave a positive mark on the world and make a difference to the people I meet. I like the idea of leaving something valuable behind, so that my life has had a meaning even after I am no longer here.
At the same time, I dream of experiencing as much of the world as possible. I am curious by nature and would like to experience different cultures, people and landscapes, as I believe it gives a broader perspective on life.
Another important goal for me is to be the best possible father for my son. I hope to be able to give him good values, support him in finding his own path and help him have a good and meaningful life. If I can make a positive difference for him and at the same time contribute positively to the world around me, I will feel that I have achieved something important.
What are you most proud of?
I am especially proud of being a father to my son. I am proud of him of course, but I am also proud of the role I have as a father. I feel that I am on the right track in giving him a good upbringing and the values that he can hopefully take with him in life and use to become a good person.
I am also proud of my work because I feel that what I do is of benefit to many people. It means a lot to me to be able to contribute something that has a positive impact.
I am also proud that I have participated in the Royal Run several times. It is a personal challenge that requires you to stay active and work towards a goal, and therefore it gives me a good feeling to have completed it repeatedly.
Describe some of your best experiences.
One of the biggest and best experiences of my life was without a doubt becoming a father. Even though I was incredibly tired, I clearly remember the feeling of holding my child for the first time. It was a very special moment that I will never forget.
I also have many fond memories from my childhood, including winter days when I went sledding with my parents. They were simple moments, but they have stuck as really good memories.
I have always liked to travel and experience new places. When I visit big cities, I especially like to find the tallest building or a high viewpoint and see the city and its surroundings from above. It gives me a very special feeling of experiencing the place from a different angle.
Another experience that I still remember was my first flight. It was in a small propeller plane, where we only flew up and around in circles, so you could see the ground below you. It was a completely new experience and an exciting way to suddenly see the world from above.
How would you describe your own personality?
If I had to describe who I am as a person, I would say that I am first and foremost a very positive and cooperative person. I thrive best when I am surrounded by people I care about, and I am always ready to collaborate on anything from a new project to organizing a spontaneous party!
My head is often full of new ideas because I am incredibly curious and creative. I love to delve into new topics, try new hobbies, or find creative solutions to everyday challenges, big and small.
And once I have decided on something, I am also quite persistent. Whether it is about learning a new skill, or just keeping a friendship going – I rarely give up. I see mistakes as a chance to learn, and with my positive approach I always come back stronger.
In short: I am a curious and creative person who is always ready to go to war with new ideas – and I do it with a smile!
What was your childhood dream job?
As a child, I dreamed of becoming a space explorer, a superhero, or a robot inventor. I was fascinated by space, technology, and the idea of discovering something new or creating something that could make a difference.
Although my interests have changed over time, my curiosity and desire to learn are still a big part of who I am today. I still find it exciting to explore new topics and find creative solutions to challenges.
What do friendships mean to you?
Friendships mean a lot to me. I think it is important to have good social relationships and people around you who you can trust and share both good and difficult experiences with.
For me, friendships also give perspective on life. Through other people you get new points of view, good conversations and experiences that you might not have had alone. I believe that without close relationships you can more easily feel lonely and lose some of the community that is important for a good life.
That is why I really value the friendships I have and the time I can spend with family and friends.
For me, family is not just about being biologically related, but also about the community and security you have with each other. I really value the relationships I have with my family, and the experiences and memories we have together.

Dear you
I have chosen to become a donor because family means a lot to me, and because I know from my own life how important it can be to have a child.
I myself am the father of a son who means an incredible amount to me. Becoming a father is without a doubt one of the greatest moments in my life. I still remember the feeling of holding him in my arms for the first time – even though I was incredibly tired, it was also an absolutely fantastic and indescribable experience.
My son is an only child, and I do not expect to be able to give him siblings myself. One of my thoughts when becoming a donor has therefore also been that perhaps one day far in the future he could have one or more half-siblings. Of course, this is not something I can know or expect, but the thought that there might be other people out there with whom he shares something of himself is a nice thought.
But first and foremost, I hope that my donation can help those of you who want a child to create the family you dream of.
I am a calm, friendly and helpful person and I really appreciate my family and friends. I like to stay active with things like fitness, basketball and yoga, but I also enjoy the quieter moments with a board game, a good chat or a pencil and a piece of paper.
As a child I dreamed of becoming a space explorer, a superhero, or building robots. I am probably still a little curious about the world, because I really like traveling and experiencing new places, people and cultures.
I wish you all the best on your path. I hope that my choice can help give you the opportunity to experience the joy and love that I myself have experienced by becoming a father.
Best Regards

Evaluation
The donor has chosen to donate because he wants to help others. He has a son himself and is not sure whether or not he will have more children, so this is also a way to contribute on that front. He likes to help others and has also been a blood donor.
Intelligence:
In terms of intelligence, the donor has performed within the average for his age group on the screening test. He can be expected to learn and analyse complexity on par with most others. Some things he will be quick to pick up and other things not so much.
Personality:
Overall, the donor can be said to be largely calm and collected in most situations. He’s unlikely to worry that much, except under severe or very important circumstances. Others will likely see the donor as someone without real temperament. He might show irritation or frustration when pushed to the limit, but his patience is larger than the average person. He is not expected to be sad or plagued by negative thoughts that often, meaning he will be quick to let go of negativity and move on. Overall, he describes himself as a problem-solver and someone who is focused on solutions rather than frustrations. This will make him good at handling pressure and hard times, but others might see him as a little bit unresponsive and without much clear and visible passion. The donor probably is good at controlling his impulses and not letting adversity hit him too hard. He’s likely to be very deliberate and good at thinking things through, rather than act on his immediate desires. Compared to other people, he is not expected to react proactively or to try to avoid negative consequences due to simply not giving negative scenarios much thought. The donor is an engineer and can be proactive at work and with problem-solving in anticipating negative outcomes, but in other areas of life this ability might not be as prominent. While some might be preoccupied with what could go wrong and how one can improve in the face of failure, the donor seems more focused on moving on instead of overthinking. He’s expected to be comfortable with his own persona, but in some contexts, he might be more self-conscious and prone to modify his behaviour to fit others and avoid coming across as awkward or embarrassing. Socially, others will likely describe the donor as approachable, extroverted and happy to spend time with others. He’s probably more at home in the company of others than while being alone. He can switch between taking a dominant and more laid-back approach to social gatherings. At times he’s been a leading influence in planning parties and the like. He’s expected to want a lifestyle where there’s something to do and will often seek stimulation rather than saying no to invitations. Others will mostly see him as optimistic, cheerful and sometimes seeking some form of adrenaline, though he’s not an overt risk-taker as such. He expected to be very trusting, mostly honest and helpful, even self-sacrificing to some degree. Others might take advantage of his pleasing tendencies and his hospitality, but he feels he’s able to take care of his own needs as well. The donor seems to be somewhat humble and sympathetic and will probably not make a big fuss about himself but instead focus on others.
Values and interests:
The donor seems to be a person who enjoys variation. Be it at work or in terms of hobbies, the donor will likely prefer to keep things interesting by switching it up from time to time, rather than rely on firm traditions and routines. He seems to prefer abstract thought and exploring ideas rather than keeping conversations focused on the concrete world in front of him. Others will probably say he’s a person with an interest in and opinion on most topics. The donor is not one to start discussions as such, but he might enjoy playing devil’s advocate and view topics from many perspectives, sometimes making it hard to identify what he really believes. But then again, the test also indicates a person with some principles and values.
While being interested in the abstract, he seems less focused on emotional dynamics and is more of a logical and rational person. He can be creative and aesthetically minded, but it’s not character-defining as such and will depend on the context.
Work moral and self-perception:
In terms of work ethic, the donor is likely to feel confident in his abilities, and he will mostly be an ambitious and disciplined person. While he doesn’t keep this attitude when it comes to everything in life, he’s more likely to put in an effort when asked to than not. He can be dutiful, responsible and try to live up to the expectations of others, but he also knows how to wind down and not try to satisfy everything and everyone perfectly. Others might see him as a bit messy and unstructured, but still someone who gets the job done. He can set personal goals and achieve them. When he puts his passion into something, he’s likely to be critical and demanding.
Having a normal IQ means the donor has the reasoning and problem solving skills of a normal person. In the case of our donors we use the people on the job market in Denmark to define a normal person.
