Evaluation
The donor is relatively well-reflected about the decision to become a donor. He is interested in helping and considers it a “win-win” to be financially compensated for it while he is completing his education.
He has been open about his decision and has talked to friends and family about it. The donor has decided to be anonymous. The donor has cognitive abilities to logically reason on par with the average person. He can be expected to be decent at analyzing complex problems.
In terms of personality, the donor is good at handling stressful situations, although he has a bit of a temper sometimes. He is a passionate person with an honest and transparent approach to his own emotions. The donor is self-conscious on par with the average person. In some cases, he might be a bit more concerned with being presentable and “correct”, and other times he will be care-free. The donor tends to worry more than the average person. Others will likely see him as a thoroughly analytical person who is proactive and wary of potential pitfalls and consequences of his actions. His inner thoughts will typically be filled with “what if...” and imagining scenarios. This makes him good at anticipating problems, but sometimes also a bit more cautious and over-analytical than others. He can experience intense emotional highs and lows, and others will typically be able to correctly identify his current emotional state. He is not overly pessimistic but can be impulsive and have a harder time than others controlling his immediate responses.
Socially, the donor is both outgoing and accommodating towards others in general. There will be times when he prefers his own company, and in new and unknown situations, he can be perceived as a bit more reserved. He is not clearly socially dominant or controlling, and only tries to influence social groups and others if the situation has a personal meaning to him. He enjoys being active and having lots of things going on in his life. He can become restless fairly easily if he has nothing in front of him. He can take a realistic perspective when needed, but usually has a positive and optimistic outlook on life. Whether he seeks excitement and adrenaline will be more context-driven.
The donor is generally open and seeks intellectual stimulation. His inner fantasies are vivid, and he has
a tendency to daydream. He has a creative mind and is imaginative. At the same time, he is mostly practically concerned and does not put much stock in aesthetics. He cares more about the functionality of things than their looks. The donor is interested in the ideas of others and likes to analyze and evaluate problems from many perspectives. He can be expected to have an opinion on many topics and likes discussion. He is a principled person and has strong core values that are hard to change or affect. Some may see him as a bit stubborn and conservative about his own ideals, but he can be counted on to have a fixed set of values that drive him.
The donor is skeptical at heart when meeting new people. Earning his trust is not easy, and when that trust is broken it is unlikely to be regained. In this way, the donor can be expected to shelter his inner emotional life and thoughts from others to some degree to not be too vulnerable to others. This makes him hard to fool or betray, and he will usually foresee the bad intentions of others before most people. The donor is straightforward in his interactions with others and seeks to help where he can, sometimes at the cost of his own needs and priorities. He will be regarded by others as self-sacrificing and altruistic. He is good at articulating disagreements and will most often not hold his opinions back in order to satisfy the status quo between relationships. He enjoys recognition and attention for his personal achievements and will seek to get credit for most of his accomplishments and products. He is generally sympathetic, but there are also cases in which he does not take in the burdens of others.
In terms of work ethic, the donor is almost a perfectionist. He has great confidence in his own abilities and seeks to carry out the goals and plans he sets for himself. He is a highly responsible and dedicated person with lofty standards for himself and others. He is structured, orderly, ambitious, and disciplined, which is exemplified through his dedication to strength training, for example. The donor can be quite critical and rarely accepts half-finished work. His analytical tendencies can make him slow to take decisions out of fear of making the wrong ones. In some cases, his impulsivity might moderate this behavior. He might sometimes take on too much responsibility before he notices, out of a wish to do good for himself and others. At the same time, there is also a risk of him taking on tasks he is not well-suited for, due to his confidence in his competence. He has heard advice from family and friends to take it easy sometimes.
In his own words, his most defining characteristics are discipline, imagination, and openness.
