Evaluation
The donor has chosen to donate because he knows friends that have had fertility issues. They’ve talked about it before, and one day the donor’s girlfriend showed him an ad that made him apply. He believes he has good genes and that he takes care of himself, so it would be nice to pass that on.
Intelligence:
In terms of intelligence, the donor has performed within the average for his age group on the intelligence screening test. He can be said to be like most other people in terms of logical reasoning, sometimes being very adept at recognizing patterns and analyzing complexity, and sometimes less so. The donor is expected to be a quick learner in some respects and have more difficulty in other areas.
Personality:
In terms of personality, the donor will likely be viewed by others as very calm, collected and emotionally stable. He is not likely to be an overthinker or neurotic about anything that often, and the donor seems to have a low temperament and much patience. He is likely to be comfortable with himself and not focus on negative aspects or what could go wrong.
He’s not expected to monitor his own behavior too much or worry about being embarrassed, which can also make him less prone than others to seek feedback. There is a risk that he is more reactive than proactive compared to most others. This can make him good at handling pressure and not being overly sensitive to adversity, but he can also be affected by some problems that could’ve been avoided by a bit more foresight.
The donor’s main characteristic and most apparent feature is his social engagement and extraversion. He’s likely to be viewed by others as very gregarious, open and approachable. Others will likely see him as the light of the party and someone who likes to take the spotlight, especially in terms of work. The donor has been a part of an independent startup, and he’s worked as a project manager within the IT business. He’s been in the media business as well, and there are clear indications that he wants to influence decisions and be one of the people that set the strategic vision. He likes to be in charge and has many things going on at once.
The donor seems to appreciate being stimulated and keeping a busy calendar. Others will see him as someone who prefers being with others and who can quickly grow restless. He’s run a marathon and done an iron-man. The donor also takes risks sometimes and likes living life a little more on the wild side than other people. He enjoys (in a responsible way) making more risky stock market investments than others. He likes to focus on the positives and the upsides to most situations.
The donor seems to be mostly practical, logical and rational in his approach to the world. Others will likely not see him as the most creative or imaginative person, but he’s good at being grounded and a problem-solver. The donor doesn’t put as much stock in emotional states as others do, which can make him less prone to involve emotional considerations to certain situations. When someone wants him to listen while they’re ventilating, for example, he can be quick to offer solutions instead.
The donor has the ability to be vulnerable and open about his feelings to those that know him well, which makes him show some emotional range compared to more stoic people. He enjoys variation in his life and prefers it when things are being shaken up rather than staying the same. He can be curious about the values, traditions and opinions of others and use that to inform his own worldview, making him more mutable than most in that area. In this way, it can sometimes be hard to identify what his position is on some topics.
Values and interests:
The donor is largely trusting of others and sometimes give people more chances than others think they deserve. This can make the donor seem like someone who’s being taken advantage of sometimes, but he also wants to believe in the good in others. He’s likely to be a bit strategic and political about his communication with others to serve his agendas and needs, which can be helpful in a management position. He will probably seem like a person who can balance personal needs with being someone who can still help others and be self-sacrificing. It will be context-dependent what he decides from situation to situation, but people will in general probably see him as diplomatic and agreeable.
Work moral and self perception:
In terms of work ethic, the donor seems very disciplined, structured, ambitious and competitive. The donor sets a high standard for himself and others, and he is very good at keeping to a plan, which can also make it harder for him to adjust to changing circumstances than it can be for others. He is expected to be dutiful, responsible and hard-working, which can also make it hard for him to say no to projects and tasks, and it can be hard for him to let go of responsibilities. There is a risk that he overworks himself, but he also seems to have good resources to handle a high workload.
