Our impressions
Peder became a donor for a simple but powerful reason: he has three children of his own and knows exactly what that kind of love adds to a life. He wants others to have it too. That generosity of spirit sits at the heart of who he is.
Friends and family see someone steady and fun in equal measure. He is present when it matters, quick to laugh, and genuinely warm without being overbearing. Peder is naturally calm under pressure and has a high level of trust in people. As a teacher turned educational leader, he has built a career around exactly that – being present, building community, and bringing out the best in those around him.
He's active and has played handball, badminton, and done dancing and swimming over the years, though these days it's mostly soccer and the gym. Tall and athletic, with light brown hair and blue-green eyes, he carries himself with the kind of easy confidence that makes him approachable without even trying.
I really like skiing because it combines activity, nature and community in a way that appeals to me.

What's your diet like?
My diet is generally healthy and varied. I eat a good mix of protein-rich foods, vegetables, whole grains and healthy fat sources, and I try to achieve a sensible balance in my everyday life. I'm conscious about meeting my nutritional needs, especially because energy and energy is important in a busy work and family life. Diet is important to me, not in a fanatical way, but as a natural part of taking responsibility for my body and health. There should also be room for pleasure and social meals, but basically I prioritise health and variety.
I have a natural talent for building relationships and making people feel safe and included. I'm a good listener, reading moods and bringing people together around a community. I love sports and especially soccer, not because I'm talented but because I enjoy it.
What instruments do you play?
None
Hobbies and interests
What sports do you like to participate in?
I appreciate activities with a social element where the community is in focus. For me, sport is not just about performance, but also about energy, energy and the community that can develop around an activity. I've played a lot of handball and badminton, as well as dancing, shooting and swimming.
What are your hobbies?
I am also interested in personal and professional development. I like to immerse myself, understand people and dynamics and work on creating direction and
direction and meaning in what I am a part of. I also like to be active, including strength training, soccer, running, because it gives me energy and a good structure in everyday life, but it's the community and relationships that matter most to me.
Questions
What does family mean to you?
My family means everything to me. They have helped shape who I am today and given me values that I build my life on. Their support and encouragement has had a huge impact on my choices. At the same time, they have given me the foundation to create a safe and happy family for myself.
How would friends and family describe you?
My family and friends would probably describe me as someone who is stable and reliable. Someone who takes responsibility and prioritises those I care about. They would say that I am present and engaged, both in conversations and in what we do together.
At the same time, I think they will highlight my energy and humour. I like to create a good atmosphere and bring people together, and I don't take myself too seriously.
They will probably also say that I think about things. That I reflect and don't just act impulsively, but want to understand people and situations properly.
Where is your dream travel destination?
I really like skiing because it combines activity, nature and community in a way that appeals to me. I like the physical challenge of skiing, feeling the progression and using my body actively throughout the day.
At the same time, there's something special about being surrounded by snow-capped mountains and fresh air.
I could especially imagine a trip to Japan or Canada, where the scenery is magnificent and the snow conditions are top notch. Both places offer a unique combination of culture, wild nature and powerful skiing experiences.
For me, a ski vacation is also about the atmosphere after a long day on the slopes: togetherness, good conversation and fun. The combination of speed, nature and community makes it a form of travel that suits who I am.
My biggest dream is actually quite simple: to have a good and safe life with my family, where we thrive and enjoy each other, go on adventures and enjoy each other and life. To be a father and husband who is present in everyday life, not just physically but also mentally.
I want to grow and do well in my professional life, but without it taking over. For me, it's more about balance than big ambitions. Having energy, good relationships and feeling that I have a meaningful place in life.
What are you most proud of?
I am most proud of the family I have created and the role I have as a father. That I take responsibility, am present and engaged, and that my children grow up with a secure base.
I'm also proud of the direction I've taken in my professional life and that I have dared to take responsibility, develop myself and go for more without letting go of the relationships and the human aspect of it. For me, pride is about standing by who I am and what I contribute.
Describe some of your best experiences.
Describe some of your best experiences.
Some of my best experiences have been those where the social and the active have merged. For example, trips and travells where we've gone as a family or with close friends, been active during the day and afterwards had time to sit close, talk and just be together. That combination of energy and closeness means a lot to me.
I also appreciate experiences where you share something intense, like a ski vacation, a special event or an evening where the conversations become deep and honest. It's in those moments where you laugh, challenge yourself and feel each other that I feel most connected.
For me, the best experiences are the ones where there's movement, community and a kind of intimacy in the relationship, where you get a little closer to each other and create memories that last.
How would you describe your own personality?
I am a responsible and stable person with a strong value of community and relationships. Family is important to me and I thrive in the role of a present and engaged father. I am reflective, think about my choices and care about making a positive contribution to the people around me. At the same time, I have a good sense of humour and a youthful energy that makes me approach life with curiosity and ease. I am loyal, caring and value honesty and respect in my relationships.
What was your childhood dream job?
As a child, I dreamed of many different things. I was in several "phases", including policeman, paramedic, landscaper and carpenter. What they all had in common was that they were roles with responsibility, drive and a clear function in society. I was interested in being able to do something concrete, help others and create something you could see and feel.
What do friendships mean to you?
Friendships mean a lot to me. They're a free space where I can be myself without a facade. I appreciate relationships where there is room for humour and depth, where we can laugh together, but also talk honestly about what's on my mind.
For me, friendship is about loyalty and reciprocity. Being there for each other and investing time and energy in the relationship. I don't need a lot of superficial acquaintances. I value close relationships where there is trust and history.
Friendships provide perspective, energy and a sense of belonging. It's something I prioritise and take seriously.
My biggest dream is actually quite simple: to have a good and safe life with my family, where we thrive and enjoy each other, go on adventures and enjoy each other and life.

Evaluation
The donor has chosen to donate because he wants to help other people. He has three children of his own and wants others to experience the same joy. He has discussed the decision with his partner and has her support. He also personally knows people who have used sperm donors before, which has given him more perspective on the decision than others may have.
Intelligence:
In terms of intelligence, the donor has performed just within the average for his age group on the screening test. It is unclear whether other factors may have played a role in his performance, such as distractions or the like. In any case, he is likely to be perceived as someone with reasonable cognitive ability. He will be quick to learn some things, others less so.
Personality:
In terms of personality, the donor seems like someone who is not easily overwhelmed by pressure or uncertainty. He doesn't seem like an anxious type and others are likely to see him as calm, confident and able to maintain composure in stressful situations. He is not easily upset and will often rely on his own ability to handle difficult situations when they arise. At the same time, he has a more impulsive side and can sometimes act on his immediate desires and instincts instead of stopping to think things through in detail. The Donor appears more outgoing than most, but not necessarily in a very dominant or socially dependent way. He is expected to appear positive, energetic and open to having fun, and is likely to bring a good mood to many social situations. Others may see him as upbeat, optimistic and attracted to new experiences, activity and stimulation. However, he's probably not someone who constantly needs to be surrounded by people or take control of the room. He can probably enjoy social situations and make a good impression, but without necessarily needing to be the center of attention. He also seems to have a generally cooperative and pleasant way of dealing with other people. He is likely to be welcoming, trusting and considerate in his interactions. Others may perceive him as warm, easy to talk to and generally well-meaning. He is probably not very confrontational by nature and may prefer to keep on good terms with people whenever possible. The donor cites his work as a manager as an example where it can be difficult for him to make decisions that are not in everyone's favor. At the same time, he doesn't seem overly submissive or dependent on the approval of others, and his relatively calm emotional profile likely gives him a sense of inner peace. Overall, the donor seems like a positive, relaxed and approachable person with a spontaneous mind and a good ability to stay calm when things get demanding.
Values and interests:
The donor is expected to be curious and receptive to new ideas and experiences, though not necessarily someone who constantly seeks the abstract, unusual or unconventional. He is likely to enjoy variety and stimulation, especially when it feels engaging and energizing, but he may also appreciate familiar routines and practical realities. He may be drawn to activities that feel active, fun or slightly unpredictable, and he may prefer environments where things are not too slow, rigid or repetitive. For example, he is fond of sports and soccer and likes to play and feel alive that way. He probably seems to value enjoyment, good energy and meaningful social contact. He can be good at bringing lightness and humour into everyday situations as he has a basic optimism about him. He doesn't seem overly serious or burdened with worry unless he is overworked or stressed, and this can make him pleasant company for others. Relationships and social harmony seem to matter to him. He is probably interested in being decent to others and is almost certainly inclined to give people the benefit of the doubt. Some might even think he's a bit naive because he has a very high level of trust in almost everyone he meets. Overall, his interests and values seem to be centered around positivity, activity, a certain variety, but also a love of everyday life and a generally warm approach to other people.
Work ethic and self-perception:
In terms of work ethic, the donor seems to be quite balanced. He is not expected to be extremely rigid, perfectionistic or over-controlled, but he doesn't seem careless or irresponsible either. He may work best when he is motivated by the task at hand, by the people around him, or by a clear sense of momentum, as is the case with his job as a manager. He is probably not naturally very structured or detail-oriented and others may see him as somewhat relaxed or flexible in how he organizes himself. He may not always keep things perfectly planned, neat or systematic, and he may benefit from external structure when tasks require sustained organization. Combined with his high impulsivity, this gives the impression of someone who can be energetic and responsive, but who may sometimes need to slow down when precision and long-term planning are important. The donor is likely to see themselves as capable of handling challenges. He doesn't feel easily helpless or unable to cope, and he has a strong sense that things will work out, even under pressure. This can be a strength as it allows him to stay calm and move forward where others may become stressed. However, it can also mean that he doesn't always take potential problems seriously until they are already present.
Having a normal IQ means the donor has the reasoning and problem solving skills of a normal person. In the case of our donors we use the people on the job market in Denmark to define a normal person.
