The Donor is primarily characterized by a high work ethic and a desire to help others. He is well reflected about the decision to become a donor and does it for charitable reasons. The donor is very trusting, open-minded, and reflective. Based on his performance on the screening test, the donor has a remarkably high intelligence. He seems to enjoy abstract conversation, philosophical discussions as well as other forms of intellectual stimulation. To others he will appear grounded, rational, and realistic, and will be more task-oriented than emotionally aware. This is mostly due to personal preferences. With his awareness of potential personal shortcomings, he will be expected to pay attention to the emotions of others when the situation calls for it. The donor is usually active, self-sacrificing, and self-aware. He is expected to be organized, detail-oriented and eager to learn. He can also be seen as argumentative and always willing to debate. The donor sets a high standard for himself and others and might come across as self-critical and rarely completely satisfied with his own effort. He is extroverted and sociable by nature. Others will most likely describe him as an active, engaged and partly dominant member of the social groups he participates in. Finally, the donor is usually aware of (and focused on) potential concerns and future problems, which enables him to act on this in a timely fashion. He will rarely seem fully content, self-satisfied or at ease, but will most likely express a calm and accommodating attitude.
