My mother loves baking everything from cakes to all kinds of bread. She is an incredibly smiling person who likes to spoil people who are close to her.

Our impressions
Having experienced firsthand the joy of parenthood, Thorkild wanted nothing more than to open that same door for others. Family is clearly the cornerstone of his life, and his pride in his children and their mother shines through in everything he does. He comes across as a man who leads with his heart, and his decision to donate feels entirely in keeping with who he is.
What makes this donor particularly memorable is his warmth and down-to-earth nature. He is physically active and loves a challenge, but above all else it is time with his children that drives him. He has a spontaneous streak and enjoys the occasional skydive and motorcycle ride. At the same time, he is equally content sleeping in a woodland shelter with his family or exploring Italian culture on a slow summer trip. He is, in every sense, someone who lives fully and generously.
Any sport my kids go to. I'm very passionate about that. Boxing, mostly for fitness.
What are your hobbies?
Strength training and exercise as I like to challenge myself with different things and move physically. But best of all, activities with my children.
Questions
What does family mean to you?
My family means everything to me. I feel we can handle anything when we are together and they are the ones who help make me who I am.
How would friends and family describe you?
Very helpful, I think. I'm often told that I can wait with what I'm doing myself, to help them first.
Then I am told I am loving, thoughtful and good at listening if someone has some thoughts that bother me.
Where is your dream travel destination?
Italy is where our family has put down roots. I love the culture, the food, the warmth and there are always wonderful and happy people.
That my children have the best upbringing possible.
What are you most proud of?
My children because they surprise me every single day. I'm proud that I've gotten to where I am in life. I'm proud of my children's mother because she is the best mother my children could have, and I'm proud that I can call myself a father.
Describe some of your best experiences.
My best experiences are definitely when my children were born. Then when I met their mother. As a child, it was definitely when me and my siblings were in the garden in the summer, where only the imagination could set the limits for what kind of fun we could have. Then most vacations have also been good experiences.
Describe some of your best experiences.
How would you describe your own personality?
Helpful, considerate, loving and persistent. Once I start something, I always finish it.
What was your childhood dream job?
Pilot
What do friendships mean to you?
Friendship means everything to me, but it has to be said that I'd rather have 5 friends you can count on than 20 that just disappear at some point.
Italy is where our family has put down roots. I love the culture, the food, the warmth and there are always wonderful and happy people.

Handwriting
Handwritten text
I am a man in my mid-30s who spends most of my time with my girlfriend and our 4 children. We love being out in nature, sleeping in open-air wooden shelters and hiking in the wild. We also like to travel to different countries to experience their culture.

Evaluation
The donor has chosen to donate because of a desire to help other people. He has two children of his own and a girlfriend who has two children from a previous relationship. The donor wants others to have this opportunity and he personally knows people who have had fertility problems.
Intelligence:
In terms of intelligence, the donor has performed within the average for his age group on the screening test. He can be said to be like most other people in this respect. He learns some things quickly, other things less so. He is expected to be reasonable when it comes to analyzing complexity and understanding patterns.
Personality:
In terms of personality, the Donor is largely a person of no particular temperament. He has often been described by others as having a "long fuse" and he can't think of examples of situations that have caused him to be outwardly angry with people. He is not worried, but is deliberate in his decision-making and thinks through the consequences before taking action. Where others may be worried about many things in life, the donor is a person who is more inclined to believe that things will work out. However, he is not a blind or naive optimist and recognizes that it is important to be measurable in terms of optimism and take into account the reality of circumstances. He is expected to be good at being down to earth and stable in his emotional expressions. He is not likely to be impulsive, self-conscious or pessimistic. On the contrary, he will be good at handling pressure and not have big mood swings. Socially, he is expected to be able to switch between being sociable and needing time for himself. For the most part, he will enjoy spending time with others and meeting new people. Sometimes he likes parties, sometimes he prefers a quiet evening with close friends. In either case, while he may like to have some influence, he's not good at being the center of attention and doesn't want to attract that kind of role. Overall, others are likely to see the donor as a friendly and trusting person who is honest rather than political or strategic in his communication. What you see is very much what you get and he is not comfortable keeping secret agendas. He seems to prefer good relationships with others and will only confront people or voice disagreement if he feels it is important. For example, he will call friends when they drop off for meetings or playdates with the kids. The donor is very much a person who wants to help other people and put others before himself. If someone was moving while he was moving, he would probably help the other person first. He seems to be a pretty active person with a positive attitude.
Values and interests:
The donor doesn't mind having a busy schedule, and life with four children is a busy life in itself. The donor needs a little excitement in his life from time to time, such as spontaneously skydiving with friends or spending time riding his motorcycle. The donor seems to value honesty, modesty and being likeable. He can quickly take on other people's situations as his own and feels it is important to be helpful. Although he enjoys excitement, the Donor is also a traditional person who generally prefers the quiet life and familiar routines. He doesn't like to brag or draw attention to himself, and he is largely a practical and pragmatic person without much appreciation for art or cultural activities as such. It will be context-dependent when he will seek new knowledge and in which areas. He may not be the most curious person, but he seems to enjoy learning new things. In some areas he may be very principled and steadfast, and in other areas he will be more receptive to changing his worldview.
Work ethic and self-image:
In terms of work ethic, the donor seems to want to accomplish any task with a high degree of discipline and achievement. "If you're going to do something, you might as well do it well". The donor has a basic sense of self-confidence and sets a high standard for himself and others in terms of task performance. He has been told before that he is a hard man to please. When he sets personal goals, he is also good at achieving them. Overall, the donor is likely to come across as a very conscientious person who takes his responsibilities seriously, and he is also likely to be good at taking responsibility and have a hard time saying 'no'. Others would probably describe him as quite orderly and structured, which may make him less adept at handling when plans change too much. He is a trained butcher and currently works in a warehouse where he takes his work seriously.
Having a normal IQ means the donor has the reasoning and problem solving skills of a normal person. In the case of our donors we use the people on the job market in Denmark to define a normal person.
